Mr. and Mrs. Joshua and Virginia Rowland

This weekend I had the wonderful privilege of being a part of Joshua Rowland and Virginia Thomas' wedding. We started planning their wedding about seven months ago as Virginia was in the midst of starting her own business and Josh was finishing up his college degree.  It was a planning whirlwind full of difficult and specific decisions, meetings, taste testings and other details that were both exciting and tiresome.  What a blessing to walk alongside them every step of the way, hoping to ensure them the day they were hoping for.

Monday, September 5, 2011 was the big day.  With a beautiful morning ceremony at Red Rock Canyon Open Space, the wedding started off bathed in perfection.  It was absolutely gorgeous with the sunlight bouncing off the beautiful red rock and sparkling on Pikes Peak. One couldn't have asked for a more beautiful backdrop to their ceremony and wedding pictures.

The Ceremony was followed by a reception at The Warehouse Restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs. Executive Chef Lawrence Johnson and his staff offer a menu full of creativity and flavor. Their customer service is out of this world as they work to create the most special wedding or event.   I highly recommend this venue for small - medium sized wedding receptions.

For a sneak peak at wedding pictures, check out Rene Tate Photography.  Are you looking for a photographer consumed with your desires for the wedding, focused on capturing everything and anything unique about you?  Rene Tate understands that every single moment is worth capturing and she does it with beauty and grace.  A great investment for the most important day of your life.

Josh and Virginia's wedding was a beautiful picture of elegance and simplicity.  They chose to remain focused on the items that were important to them as a couple, creating a wedding environment that was uniquely theirs.

Thank you, both, for allowing me to share in your special day!

(Until I can find a better picture depicting the beauty of the ceremony site, I'm using this picture of the bride.)
