Mr. and Mrs. Jason Goumas

This past weekend I had the privilege of coordinating Jason and Xiomara Goumas' wedding.  It was a ceremony and reception set beautifully in vintage chic motif, full of romance and elegance.

Xiomara contacted me a few months ago after a recommendation Sara Joy Photography. She was looking for someone who could understand her vision, carrying out all of the details during her wedding day.  She also needed someone to help find and communicate with a floral vendor.  Xiomara had been planning her wedding for about a year, so it was neat to step in and help her finish up her details and coordinate the day she had always dreamed of.

Jason and Xiomara had a beautiful ceremony at Cheesman Park in Denver, CO. A simply gorgeous setting for a ceremony was only enhanced by the timing of a 4:00 PM wedding. White padded chairs were centered within the marble columns of the pavilion wrapped in beautiful gold sashes.  Lining the center aisle were small wooden rose buds in champagne, rose and chocolate bronze colors. At the front and center of the aisle were white columns holding up large glass vases full of white hydrangea and feathers.  No other decorations were needed with the incredible setting surrounding the beautiful pavilion.

The reception was at The Grand Hyatt downtown Denver, right off of the 16th street mall.  With the reception located on the 38th floor, the city lights and view lent a romantic atmosphere to the evening festivities.  The room was decorated in champagne and rose colors with soft candle lighting, bathed in hydrangea and orchids wherever you turned.  The tables were decorated with brown manzanita branches, draped with sparkling crystals, hanging lanterns and white orchids.

The reception was created with every guest in mind.  A five piece band entertained in the background as the guests enjoyed a four course dinner ordered to their liking.  Cake and Champagne were served table side by servers in tuned to each guest's needs. Toasts and ballroom dancing finished out the evening for a romantic evening sure to be remembered by every guest.

It was a pleasure to be a part of Jason and Xiomara's day.  Congratulations to the bride and groom!
